FACULTY AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS

Dr Pooja Dudeja, Prof and Head, Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics has been awarded the International Travel Support (ITS) grant by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), Science and Engineering Research Board, Dept. of Science and Technology, Government of India for participating and presenting a scientific paper in the 14th IFEA World Endodontics Congress held at Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom from 10-14 September 2024.

Dr Komal Maheshwari, Professor, Department of Prosthodontics, ESIC Dental College and Hospital, Delhi has completed her fellowship in Health Professions Education offered by FAIMER, USA through Christian Medical College, Ludhiana -  FAIMER Regional Institute (CMCL-FRI) 2022-2024

Department of Public Health Dentistry, Tobacco Cessation Centre ESIC Dental College and Hospital has been recognized as the winner of this year's World No Tobacco Day Fortnight Activities. In this regard, reports from 192 Dental Colleges had been received by the National Resource Centre for Oral Health and Tobacco Cessation, In collaboration with the National Oral Health Programme, MoHFW, GoI.  Based on structured evaluation criteria “The Excellence in Delivering Tobacco Cessation Services in States/UT” award has been bestowed upon ESIC Dental College and Hospital for their remarkable efforts and dedication to promoting tobacco-free lifestyles. The Award was received by Prof. (Dr.) Nagaraj M, Dean, ESIC Dental College and Hospital, and Dr. Mansi Atri, Associate Professor, Department of Public Health Dentistry, nodal officer Tobacco Cessation Centre during the inauguration of “2nd National Level Training and Capacity Building of Dental Professionals in Tobacco Cessation” on 24th September 2024 at the National Resource Centre for Oral Health & Tobacco Cessation, MAIDS.
